The Story
Emily Jean Berry is an artist currently living and working in Manchester UK. Originally born in Cornwall, South West England she grew up constantly inspired by her surroundings and the beautiful Cornish coastlines. She moved to Manchester in 2011 to study Fine Art (BA hons) at Manchester Metropolitan University. Becoming inspired by the mix of extraordinary architecture in Manchester she began painting her surroundings and created her series of Manchester illustrations using her favourite media of watercolour and gouache. Emily continues to create work inspired by her hometown in Cornwall and scenes around Manchester or places that she has travelled to.
